We started Softball University (and in California and Hawaii, the Dodgers Training Academy Softball) because we wanted to create more opportunities for young women to experience the game of softball, and to prepare for the game of life. In our facilities and through our programs, we are always focused on teaching skills that will help young women to gain the confidence needed to succeed on the field and off.
Today, Softball University is a home for female athletes at any stage of their softball journey. Whether they are just starting out in Little League, or playing travel ball with an eye toward college recruitment, or eyeing college graduation with the hopes of playing professionally, our athletes receive instruction from current and former college/professional players who have actually lived it. Our female-led staff prides itself on providing instruction drawn from REAL softball experiences, stories, and encounters. Plus, our programs offer a career path in instruction or sports management for women whose playing days are over but who still want to be part of the action.

Our commitment to our athletes is to hire knowledgeable and friendly former athletes who are passionate about the game of softball. We aim to surround our youth with women of integrity and influence by providing them a team of positive female role models. Each player will know that she has a support system willing to help hergrow on the field, off the field, and in the classroom.
